3D Strawberry, Petunia, and Sunflower Paper Plants!

I am so excited to be kicking my new releases off this week with my new plants!
These are SO much fun to make and they would be for perfect gifts, get well wishes, welcoming new neighbors, brightening up offices (yours and others!), or just to have sitting at home!

Let's start with the Strawberry Plant
This file comes with five different sized strawberries, three flowers, stem pieces, leaf pieces, and the planter pot to hold them all!  With this one, you could use the strawberries to hold money or candy, even small jewelry!  The planter pot is approximately 3-1/2" as it comes and the file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats.

Here is the tutorial:

1.  Cut out the pieces for the flowers.
2.  Roll the scallop strip up around a pencil or skewer tightly then curve the flower petals with the skewer.  Adhere the two circle pieces together and pull up the ends so your pieces look like this now.
3.  Adhere your roll piece in the center of the circle piece.
4.  Adhere that in the center of your flower.
5.  Adhere the flower in the middle of the leaf piece.  Repeat these steps for all three flowers.
6.  Form your stem.  If you need help with those steps, click HERE.  Then apply adhesive to the circle area as shown.
7.  Place your stem to one side of the circle area...
8.  Then roll tightly.
9.  Bring the stem pieces over each other to help cover the hole in the top center.  Curl them a bit with your skewer (or pencil).  Repeat steps 6-9 until all stems are built.
10. Adhere your flower piece on one side as shown.
11. Next we will begin building the Strawberries.  Cut all the strawberries out and fold on the score lines.  Add adhesive to the tab.
12. Adhere the tab to the other side of the strawberry to close.

13. Thread the strawberry holes with string or twine.  Fill your strawberries with your candy or money here if you want them to hold something!
14. Pull the string/twine tight to close.
15. Bring the string/twine up through each hole of the strawberry top then tie in a bow.
16. Adhere the strawberries on the stem pieces as shown.
17.  Cut out your leaf pieces then adhere those in with the flowers and strawberries as well, making a mix of stems as shown.
18.  Next cut your pot pieces.  Fold the bottom of the pot piece as shown and bend the pot on the long score line.  NOTE: Do not fold on the tab piece, this is just here to show you where to place adhesive.
19.  Place adhesive on the pot tab and then bend your pot piece around, adhere in place.  You can place a piece of tape on the inside if desired to give the pot more support for the adhesive, it will not be able to be seen once your stems are in place.
20.  Place a strong adhesive on each tab of the bottom piece.
21.  Insert the bottom piece in place and adhere each tab to the pot inside.
22.  Fill your pot with your strawberry stems, arrange as desired!

This file comes with seven petunia flowers, stem pieces, leaf pieces, and the planter pot to hold them all!  The planter pot is approximately 3-1/2" as it comes and the file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats.

This one follows the same tutorial as above, so I am just showing you the flower creation.
1.  Cut out your flower pieces.  Place adhesive to the right of the slice (shown by the arrow).
2.  Adhere the left flower petal on top of the petal with adhesive on it.  Hold firmly to secure adhesive.
3.  Next adhere the star shape in place.
4.  Then scrunch up your center piece and adhere it in the center of the flower as shown.
5.  Lightly ink around the flower edges if desired.
6.  Adhere the flowers on the stem pieces as shown.

This file comes with six sunflowers, stem pieces, leaf pieces, and the planter pot to hold them all!  The planter pot is approximately 3-1/2" as it comes and the file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats.

This one follows the same tutorial as above, so I am just showing you the flower creation.
1.  Cut out your flower pieces.  Each flower will have three petal pieces.  You need enough for six flowers.
2.  Adhere the flowers together in size order, smallest to largest, staggering the petals.
3.  Bend the top layer of the flower up and the bottom down slightly.
4.  Grab your scallop pieces and place adhesive along the straight edge.
5.  Roll the first piece up tightly then adhere the second strip to the roll and roll again.
6.  Your center should look like this now.
7.  Adhere the center in place.
8.  Adhere your flowers on to your stem pieces then fill your pot!

Here's a look at what else is releasing in my Silhouette Store this week!
